The Hermit Kingdom: Making moves to swagger back into North Korea

It has been since 2007 since I was last in North Korea.  One big thing has changed for sure, and that was the death of Kim Jung Il and the transfer of control to Kim Jung En.  With a western education, a well know affinity for the NBA and also a knack for the brutal force that his father possessed, how much has really changed?

Well I don’t expect to know all that much after I return, but I am excited to know that I get to have my second peak at a place that is still “closed.”

I am heading in from the Chinese side.  But as Go Nomad writers have pointed out, the south is also an option for entry. DMZ from the North38th
